With predefined routes and service hours, these coaches provide transportation between the city centres of Hong Kong and Macao.
There are a total of 50 quotas (34 belong to Hong Kong and the other 16, to Macao) and are allocated by the respective SAR governments.
Each quota allows two departures (one journey to Hong Kong/Macao and the other, back) per day.
These coaches, with steering wheel on the right, must be registered and licensed in both cities according to their local law, and are forbidden to transport standing passengers. As for their drivers, they must be Macao residents with driving license valid in Hong Kong and Macao.
