Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Pass Permit

2. Precautions:

  1. According to the relevant provisions of the "Guidelines on Application for a Hong Kong License/Permit" issued by the Hong Kong Transport Department, the International Circulation Permit (circled on the right) and the Closed Road Permit for Cross-boundary Vehicles must be displayed on the left side of the front windscreen.**Please note that the above two permits must be kept intact and must be returned when they are renewed.
  2. A vehicle registration mark prefixed with "ZM" shall be manufactured to specifications in accordance with the guidelines and based on the plate number on the International Circulation Permit, and shall be firmly displayed on the front and rear of the vehicle.
  3. A quota holder must log into the "Zhuhai Traffic Police Interconnected Service Platform" (URL: http://bridge.zhjj.org.cn:9080/) to check the application result, download and print the "Provisional Driving Permit" and the "Provisional Number Plate", and place them in the vehicle for future traffic police inspections.
  4. The Macao Customs will inform all quota holders in an orderly manner at a later time (expected within two weeks) to complete the customs clearance formalities. Quota holders and their vehicles may travel to Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge only after such formalities are completed.
  5. Renewal: Currently, the International Circulation Permit and the Closed Road Permit for Cross-boundary Vehicles issued by the Hong Kong Transport Department are both valid for one year. A quota holder may visit the Hong Kong Transport Department in person with the application documents to handle the renewal formalities one month before expiry.

Time: 09:00 a.m. to 17:15 p.m., Monday to Friday
