The East Public Car Park of the HZMB Macao Frontier Post, hereinafter referred to as East Car Park, is situated on the east side of the building, is designed for vehicles outside of Macao. It consists of the 1st basement, ground floor and 1st to 5th floors. Both the entrance and exit of the East Car Park are located in the street on the east side of the HZMB Macao Frontier Post, with 3,000 parking spaces opened for the general public.

2. Parking space reservation
   • When the real-time remaining parking spaces in the car park are more than 600, no need to reserve and can enter directly;
   • When the real-time remaining parking spaces in the car park are less than 600, reservation is required before entering the car park.

     2.1 Use “Macao Smart Go”APP, click “East Car Park”

     2.2 Fill in license plate number

     2.3 Fill in mobile number, receive verification code
     2.4 Fill in correct verification code
     2.5 Reservation complete

     • The parking space will be reserved for 3 hours after registration reservation is complete;
     • After the parking space is reserved, change is not allowed, but can cancel at anytime;
     • During the reservation period, the same vehicle cannot make repeated reservation.

     2.6 Search reservation records

    

3. Park-and-ride, travel around Macao
   • The maximum number of parking days in East Car Park is 8 consecutive days.
     
   • Vehicles parked overdue will be fined and locked, can only leave after paying the fee.

Charge:
Starting May 1, 2025, a price cap per 24-hour period will be implemented.

• Payment Method: Cash, “GovPay” integrated payment platform, Macau Pass, UnionPay Quick Pass, Credit Card, Wechat Pay (Mainland and Hong Kong Resident applicable) and AliPay (Mainland and Hong Kong Resident applicable)
  • Pay electronically via the automatic device at exit;
  • Pay by cash or electronically at car park toll office.

 

Precautions
For Hong Kong vehicles without the cross-border private car quota or non Guangdong-Hong Kong cross-border license, drivers need to first apply “Park-and-Ride Scheme” from the Hong Kong Transport Department. For more details, please refer to the leaflet of the Hong Kong Transport Department.

2. Purchase Macao and Mainland China compulsory insurance

   • Purchase “Short-Term Insurance Applicable for the Park-and-Ride Scheme of the HZMB Macao Port”

   • Purchase Mainland China “Compulsory insurance for vehicle traffic accident liability”
3. Login to the Zhuhai traffic police internet service platform, upload the information of Mainland China “Compulsory insurance for vehicle traffic accident liability”, and obtain the Mainland China temporary e-license

Unauthorized parking

1. Except for the special permission of the operating entity, vehicles with the following characteristics are prohibited to be parked at the East Car Park:

   1.1 Vehicles with a height of more than 2 meters;

   1.2 Vehicles which, by the type of cargo they carry, may endanger the safety of the car park and any user or vehicle parked therein, in particular those carrying toxic, unhealthy or flammable products;

   1.3 Vehicles that produce exhaust gas above the legally established limit.
   
   

2. When tropical cyclone signal No. 8 or above, and level 3/orange or above storm surge warning is issued, the basement first floor of the East Car Park will be closed from the next ninety minutes; but during the closure period, vehicle users who have parked on that floor can still drive the vehicles away from that floor.

 

Applicable laws

The applicable laws include the  Law No. 5/2023 "Public Parking Service, the  Regulation of the East Public Car Park of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Frontier Post, approved by the Chief Executive's Order No. 67/2024 and the Chief Executive's Order No. 76/2025, and other regulations.
